The Antique Fob: A genuine late Georgian or Victorian wax seal fob featuring beautifully
detailed, crisp architectural scrolling brackets. Crafted using the traditional
gold-cased (rolled gold) method, a thick layer of solid gold is
mechanically bonded over a base metal core, giving it a heavy, luxurious weight
and an enduring, brilliant luster.

The Matrix: The base
features a smooth, glossy, oval carnelian gemstone. Unlike many fobs of
the era, this matrix is completely blank and unengraved. It offers a
clean, minimalist silhouette or acts as a perfect blank canvas should you wish
to have a lapidary custom-carve your own family crest, initials, or personal
monogram.

The Chain: The fob
is paired with a heavy-gauge, modern 600mm gold-plated rope chain (stamped
"GOLD PLATED" near the secure clasp) that sits comfortably at a

preserved with excellent luster, showing minimal wear to the high points and no
structural damage.

semi-translucent fiery orange hue.

Note on Antiquity: Minor, natural oxidation typical of historical hollow-core jewelry was
present on the interior dome and has been carefully cleaned. The exterior gold
remains bright and untarnished.
