Greengate British Railways Khaki Rubberised Trench Coat

This super rare mid-century Macintosh is in very good unused condition and is quite rigid.

These are very similar to the British Army second world war trench coats.

There are a few storage marks, however once worn-in will be an excellent addition to any collection.

There is a khaki lambs-wool lining to the shoulder area and two large side pockets.

To the back is a slit vent with a button, and metal eyelets in the armpit for ventilation.

Approximately a 46-48” chest and measures 45”, 116 cm from collar to hem. The arms are 45cm pit to cuff.

To the inside just under the armpit there is lettering BR, E, G&I, which I believe is British Railways Grimsby and Immingham Electric Railway, which closed in 1961.
