Step back into the golden age of motorsport with this stunning men's Everite
Junior mechanical timepiece. Originally retailed by the historic British
high-street jeweller H. Samuel, this watch features a robust, Swiss-made
manual-wind movement housed in a timeless stainless steel case.
What truly sets this piece apart is its incredibly
rare, period-correct hybrid racing strap. A true holy grail for retro
enthusiasts, the band features rigid 4cm stainless steel sections flanking the
watch head, complete with the iconic 3-hole "keyhole" ventilation
cutouts designed to mimic vintage race car steering wheels. This transitions
seamlessly into flexible 5cm leather extension straps for ultimate wrist
comfort, reminiscent of the Tissot
Seastar PR516.
Condition Report:
The Swiss manual-wind mechanism is in excellent, fully operational condition,
winding smoothly and keeping great vintage time. The watch head and rare hybrid
strap are structurally excellent, however, as can be seen in the “Ticking video”
under the rear cover there is damage and loss of the chrome plating, which is
barely noticeable with the back on. The crystal displays authentic surface scuffing
and scratches consistent with age, left unpolished to preserve its genuine retro
patina (or easily replaced if preferred).
