Description
A beautiful vintage/antique-style statement necklace featuring an ornate,
gold-plated fob seal pendant. Historically worn on a gentleman's pocket watch
chain to stamp wax seals onto letters, this decorative fob has been beautifully
repurposed onto a long, wearable neck chain.
The fob
is set with a striking square, pale yellow stone matrix housed in an
intricately detailed, scrolling gallery. The pendant hangs from a matching 60cm
gold-plated chain, making it the perfect layering piece with genuine retro
character.

Condition: Good vintage/antique condition with a lovely natural patina.

Metalwork:
Minor wear to the gold plating on the high points of the ornate metalwork,
consistent with age and gentle use.

The yellow stone matrix shows a few very minor surface scratches and 1 or 2
minor fleabites (tiny pinprick chips) along the edges, which is typical for
authentic, pre-owned estate jewellery and does not detract from its charm.
